Review: Shelf Tags saved my family - Right before the mass shut downs due to Covid 19, my family and I moved into a lovely new home. We were overcome with joy, particularly with our new kitchen and the pantry. We had a whole separate walk-in pantry adjacent to the enormous kitchen, and we just couldn’t have been happier: finally enough room for all that Portuguese Sausage Spam, pickle-flavored gumballs and dehydrated water! But like fast food and TikTok, all good things come with a price. A terrible, terrible price. We had all this space and different ideas of where to put everything! One of us puts snack items on the left, another on the right. Does oatmeal go with baking items because of oatmeal cookies or with breakfast items? Is it wrong to put tortillas with bread? Who is buying all these boxes of creamy chicken ramen and do they go with pasta or with soups?! We had no organization. No hope. Our entire household devolved into chaos. The eight year old went full Lord of the Flies, scrounging through the pantry with one hand, spear in the other, in an endless, fruitless search for mini muffins that were buried under the countless boxes of Keto friendly cookies that kept getting ordered because “I thought we were out.” The cat capitalized on the humans’ discord like a domesticated urban raccoon, becoming hopelessly overweight on a new diet of cereal spilled from boxes that toppled from shelves due to overcrowding and jostling to get to the half a bag of Dorito dust and crumbs my boyfriend was “sure was back there somewhere.” I myself fell into an existential crisis, questioning the meaning of life on earth if one could not even enjoy the simple pleasures of a large pantry. I didn’t shower for days, holed up in the pantry under the shelves, cursing its glorious spaciousness and grandeur, despising myself for my vainglorious hubris. Our pantry had become a DMZ. **Q: Does the label slide in between 2 layers of plastic so the front is also covered with plastic?**
A: Hi,
The ID label holder is designed with the front open. On the top and bottom of the label holder it folds over to hold the edges of your label. I make paper labels slightly smaller than the holder then laminate them. I then trim them to fit and if done correctly it will be a slightly snug insert. Having it snug will help hold it in place and being laminated we can wipe the labels off if something gets spilled on them and it won't ruin the label.

**Q: Anyone know a non-adhesive Avery product# to use with laser printer?**
A: They make removable adhesive labels. I have had good luck with their not leaving residue.

**Q: Will these holders be taken off easily?**
A: Yes they come off easy

**Q: I need labels that can be printed for this through the computer does anyone know which ones ? Thanks**
A: The Avery 5160 labels³ should work. I used my silhouette vinyl cutting machine so I didnt have to print one label at a time.
