Works as it should, I cut the hose in half, hind sight, I should have done 1/3 and 2/3 instead. Using the longer end for the gas can and the shorter end into or out of the other container, recommended.

I don't know why the manufacturer of this manual fuel pump doesn't test out ther product before selling it! I purchased a similar pump a few years ago...and overall it works good. This version is unusable. The bulb isn't stiff enough and is slow to return after squeezing it as you pump. In addition, the hose is not what is pictured on Amazon. The hose is too supple and bends easily, shutting off the flow of gasoline. Very frustrating and will be returned. 1 star.
