You squeeze the puree out of the pouch to eat therefore at the moment you're sipping it, there should just be food (similar to any baby food pouch). They’re expensive for what they are.. especially if you buy the no-squeeze lids which we did.. but they end up not much more than the disposable ones and you can use again and again. I bought a second pack as nursery threw one away, and I’ve noticed since buying another pack that they do stain from the fruit. I use for yogurt and fruit pouches but have also tried freezing fruit juice to make a little slushie for hot days and the watermelon totally stained the inside! Anyway, overall recommend.Also pro tip: my kids love strawberry squeeze pouches but fresh strawberries blended can be quite bitter, I roast frozen ones with a tiny bit of coconut oil and maple until jammy and holy moly..
