Until now, I have been very particular about what ACT guides I choose and have stuck with the real act prep guide because it is generally favored because it is from the makers of the ACT. Simply said, the Ivy Global guide is just as good, if not better. The Ivy Global book goes into more detail about the test as a whole and shows you how to approach each section rather than the official ACT books "this is what is in this section, heres another practice test" format. This book does include 2 less practice tests than the official ACT book, but sometimes, especially when you plan to trek into the 30s, there needs to be more focus on strategies and test taking skills rather than practice tests after practice test. I am currently sitting at a 29 and am hoping to score in the 30s on the September test, maybe this book will be the difference (will post an update after the test). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great book for reviewing topics and for practicing the ACT; a must buy. *by N***K on Reviewed in the United States on July 20, 2017* This book was generously given to me for free by Ivy Global through a giveaway on Reddit. However, I did receive the 1.1 Edition of the book, which reflects minor changes in the test. Overall, this book is terrific. Now, I'm not an ACT tutor, so I can't share a professional opinion. However, I AM a student who will be retaking it in September (I received a 32 on the June ACT).I can say with certainty that this is a great all-rounder book. It doesn't go too in-depth within each subsection of the ACT, but it does highlight areas of importance within each section. The questions are well-replicated, and appear to be similar stylistically to actual ACT questions.
