It fits my firearm with optic perfectly. The adjustable passive retention functions flawlessly, adjusting with just the twist of a Phillips head screw. It rides not only low enough for my optic but also low enough not to have to remove while driving my car with a center console (which is an issue when you're 6'7 and 350 lbs). I can't say enough good things about this holster, and have only one minor gripe with the fact that the paddle is quite loose and freely slides around my belt and will come unclipped quite easily.
