Mechanical parts are quite memorizing to watch, but are not built to the highest spec. Clock appears to run a little fast, and needs frequent adjustment to stay on time. Apart from that, the only serious complaint would be the use of plastic on the front face paired with a small opening in the clam shell for any number of things to reach through and scratch it. If the front face was glass, or if the front clam shell was solid, this would greatly improve the longevity of the product. Nonetheless, the rest of the watch body is metal, and does seem to be quite solid, so it seems that the rest of the watch will long outlive the front watch face.
