UNI also makes a similar hub. ### ⭐ Stopped working after 5 months. Host end fell apart when removed from PC for Troubleshooting *by M***. on October 22, 2024* I used this as part of the setup to move my PC tower out of my office for noise and heat during the summer. It worked well for a few months and could handle both DisplayLink monitors and standard USB C Hubs with no issue. That is, until recently, when I unplugged it briefly to move something. When I plugged it back in, the monitor flashed and went dead. After that, the most that cable would do is produce the screen backlight indicating power, but no display. I tried it with a USB keyboard and the keypresses only registered about 1/5 of the time, and after several seconds of delay. Clearly, there was an issue, so I went to the tower and gently unplugged the host end of the cable, which immediately lost it's housing and exposed the-- thankfully unpowered-- PCB. At that point I didn't expect it to work, and it did not, even though I could get the housing back on. Both ends of the cable had strain relief attached so the connectors were definitely never under strain. Thankfully, my monitor and USB ports all appear fine.
