## Description

Tomcat® is designed to kill. Tomcat® Glue Traps with Eugenol for Enhanced Stickiness are the , non-toxic way to stop a mouse right in its tracks. Our professional-strength glue formulation is pre-scented and has the ideal combination of immediate grip and stretchable hold to effectively capture mice and other household , including cockroaches, ants, spiders, and scorpions. Tomcat® Glue Traps come ready to use right out of the box, so you can get to mouse-hunting immediately. Rodents have a natural tendency to run along walls as they move from hiding to feeding, so we recommend placing your traps up against the walls of rooms or cupboards where activity is suspected, such as kitchens, basements, or garages. If a mouse has not been caught in 2-3 days, place the trap in an alternate location. Once the mouse has been captured, dispose of the trap and rodent in the trash. Each package of Tomcat® Glue Traps contains four disposable mouse-sized traps.

Review: Great for catching a bunch of mice! - I've used this item before to catch mice in a rat sticky trap. But I've never caught 4 adult mice in a single trap before. Heck, I didn't even know that I had 4 adult (looking) mice in my house. I have caught 1 mama mouse and her 7 babies, which made me sad. I've caught at least 3 babies alone in this kind of rat trap. Overall get a dog or cat, they are best at keeping the mice away imo. This trap is easy to setup. Open the package and split them part. Place down in a high traffic area for them mice and wait. You won't wait long and you'll hear them squek loudly when they get stuck. After you feel like you caught all the mice, toss into the trashcan by the end of day. Do not keep the trap up after a day of a dead mouse unless you like the smell of the rotting carcass in your home. Okay some downsides or precautions at it were. DO NOT step on the trap. Barefooted best op, in shoes nope! Once you step in the trap and get your shoe out of it, where ever you step or that person who stepped into the trap without looking will leave a bunch of sticky residue on your floor for the next two steps. RIP your floor. Warn people about the trap. Yes, you'll have to use certain techniques to get the glue off your floor. It's like you have a second trap outside of the actual trap that you didn't plan for and yes, everything will stick to it. Dust, bugs, paper, just to name a few. If you have pets. Do not let them get near it, heck, do not have them in the same room! If you have small birds like I do, do not let them out until the you got the mice and remove the trap. I've never had my bird outside or trapped in this trap. But if it did happen, hello emergency vet and I would probably have a dead pet bird. Also if you don't like hearing the sounds of the trapped mice struggling to get out or seeing baby mice stuck, then do not get this trap. Imo, it's better than poison traps and catch and release is not an option. I'm not going to spread diease around in a different habitat by catching and release mice or poisoning other animals that eat mice. I've never used on a rat, I had one and got the terminatiors out for that. I live near a park and that's where these little f***** mice come from. Pro(s): Very sticky. Captures a lot of mice. Easy to use. Good value. No smell. Con(s): Do not use with pet(s) around.
Review: They Work Well - I hav been blessed. I’ve only had mice once or twice in all the years I’ve lived in my home. I’ve been here for almost 36 years. The last time there was a mouse in my house was over a decade ago and luckily there was only one. In the past my husband would pick up some spring traps and he would Sal with it when they were caught. Unfortunately I have had the biggest infestation I’ve experienced in the last 36 years. To make matters worse they were in my bedroom, I was really surpris d by this because I have 2 dogs that are in my room all the time. My family has 2 cats. I guess despite the fact that my dogs are little barks butt’s they were less scary then the cats. A little over a month ago I had been in the kitchen make my dinne. Wh n I went into my bedroom I was shocked to find a dead mouse on my floor. I don’t know if one of the cats had killed it or my dog, but I’m guessing it was my daughter’s cat Kiki. Our other cat doesn’t venture out of my daughter’s room much. He’s to afraid of the dogs: My fist thought was not fit to express here as it consisted of a few bad words. I started thinking maybe it was just the one because I hadn’t seen signs of others. Then I heard something noisy in my closet that sounded like something falling. It was followed by the squeaks of the rodent it was. They really give me the heebie-jeebies. I would say they scare me to death, but it’s more a case of they freak me out. I don’t know what I was going to do. I knew that I wouldn’t be able to set the spring traps. I have a central nervous system disorder that causes a lot of shaking, especially in my hands. I really didn’t think I would be able to set a trap without snapping my own fingers. I know there are a lot of people who find sticky traps inhumane, but they were uninvited guests in my home and I wasn’t about to catch them and let them outside so they could get back in my house. I don’t drive and I’m in a wheelchair I wouldn’t be able to have taken. I’m very far anyway. The sticky traps arrived and I was really happy with how affordable they were. I was a little worried that they wouldn’t be sticky enough because they were one of the cheaper packs that I had came across but happily they worked very well. I placed them around my room in areas that my dogs couldn’t get to with a little smear of peanut butter. I put them out not long before I went to bed and when I woke up in the morning, I could hear the sounds of some heavy squeaking. One of the traps had two mice stuck to it one looked to be fully grown, and the other was about half it size. My next thought was a hack. How am I gonna get it up without touching them but I have a grabber that makes it easier for people who have physical limitations to get things. I know this may sound cruel, but I put them in a bucket of water. I just felt like it was the easiest thing and less cruel than to leave them, stuck and fighting to get off because they were really tearing their legs apart trying to get free. I had to be painful. So far counting the one the cat or dogs got they’ve been five. I still have sticky traps out, but I haven’t called any in close till week so fingers crossed and prayers to God maybe that’s all of them only time will tell. Honestly, I’m happy with my decision to go with the sticky traps. It was safer for me. I wasn’t comfortable putting out poison because of the cats and the dogs. People can talk about humane ways to die and in my opinion there is no human way. No matter how you look at it death is not pleasant. It doesn’t matter if you’re talking about a small rate like a mouse or a fully grind human being. Not only do mice bring up health concerns they can do a great deal of damage. Mice breed rapidly and the traps are effective.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: what size are they ... product shows 0.6 x 0.6 x 4.9 inches does not seem right ?**
A: The dimensions are closer to 3" X 4.5".

**Q: Is this product popular with consumers?**
A: Yes, it's effectiveness on mice is not as good as you would think though, some mice are very intelligent and will not go near them. I like the glue traps because they also catch brown recluse spiders and crickets.

**Q: Is the glue in this stronger than the white Catchmaster traps? Those didn’t work at all for me; didn’t catch any mice.**
A: I've been using these traps for years. The glue is so strong, if you touch it by mistake you'll get good and stuck, too. It'll catch any bug or mouse within touching distance.

**Q: What do you use to pick up the glue tray with the mouse stuck to it ?**
A: This is totally personal preference. Sometimes the mouse is dead when you find it, sometimes it's not. I would not put it anywhere that another animal or child could get to. If it's already dead, no problem, just throw it in the trash you are taking out. If it's not dead you choose what bothers you the least and make it quick or out of site. Either way, anything that touches the glue will get stuck to it and you'll need goo be gone to get it off efficiently. These are the most effective mouse traps I've used. I paid an extermination company a lot of money and they caught zero mice. I bought a bunch of these traps and put them in the mouse running paths and caught all of them. Hope this helps.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Enhanced stickiness with eugenol, great value 6-pack
*by A***W on April 15, 2026*

Tomcat Glue Traps with Eugenol are more effective than regular glue boards for catching mice and insects. The eugenol formula enhances stickiness significantly, and we've had good results catching mice that managed to avoid snap traps. The traps lay flat and can be folded into a box shape to keep them discreet along baseboards. The 6-pack is a great value — we use them in the garage, basement, and behind the refrigerator during fall and winter when mice try to come inside. The adhesive holds firmly and pests don't escape once stuck. They also work well for cockroaches and spiders, making them versatile pest control tools. We replace them every 4-6 weeks or when they get full. One tip: place them perpendicular to walls where mice travel, and avoid touching the adhesive area with bare hands to preserve stickiness. Very effective for the price.
