**Q: Is this good for r22**
A: you can use on R22 also yes, it works on all refrigerants.

**Q: What will happen if used on a 1-ton system?**
A: You will probably be putting too much in.  They make a smaller dosage unit, but it doesn't have the dye in it.  You can get a dye injector and inject the dye separately.  You can use the smaller unit on automotive applications.  The company is in  St. Louis, MO and I had called their tool free number.  Very Helpful.

**Q: Can I use this sealer in an empty mini split using pressurized nitrogen?**
A: Needs to be installed when charging the system as it needs to circulate for about an hour with system running after fully charged

**Q: Does the dye allow easy spotting of the leak location?**
A: hopefully
