Without a kiln, this can be exceptionally difficult to avoid breaking pieces from improper cooling.My mentor and I were short a kiln for most of this summer, and were restricted to what we could and could not make on the torch. This little guy saved the day for our bench-cooling needs! In fact, months later, we are still using it! It holds up great, and the ceramic fiber doesn't shed off in strings into our hand! The dust is really easy to wash off, so this shouldn't injure you or irritate your skin if you use your hands a lot.Great value for the money, and this stuff is an excellent insulator.
