This product illustrates it perfectly.I was drawn to the wide array of colors and the 'good' price ($21.99 for 50 shades) but GUESS WHAT? The quality of the wool is HORRIBLE. The second I opened the package, I suspected. The wool was rough between my fingers and felt like _acrylic_.Then when I tried to needle felt it.....it wouldn't felt smoothly AT ALL. For all you beginner needle felters out there (myself included) be forewarned - GOOD QUALITY WOOL makes needle felting easier and quicker! I immediately called Amazon to return. I probably wouldn't use it for my own work, but for kids it's great because it's low cost + comes in a lot of colors and gets the job done! There's more than you think there is in each tiny bag (and they are tiny). The only thing I'm bothered by is all of the plastic.
