I have other products from you guys and my buddies and we love them. Have you fixed this issue?** A: I have a 14 and no issues. All Wireless chargers get warm/hot. Really depends on your perception. Typically thicker case are the issue. the further the distance from charging coil the phone receiver you will have more heat. We only recommend Mag Safe cases for apple. also the iphone 14's magnets and Apples real cases have much stronger magnets. **Q: Will Apple CarPlay transmit through this or does the phone still have to be plugged in?** A: Your stereo system would need to have wireless car play capability. I have used their product for years! I found this version needs to be plugged into a direct power source.
