Of course, I don't think I need one!!!! My hearing loss is evident but mild. I have no trouble with clarity with the aid. It is on a low setting. There has been no problems since I got the aid. It is comfortable and fits well. One doe not fit well so I need to explore a larger ear bud then was provided. **Q: Do these have directional microphones in them** A: no **Q: Are these FDA approved or registered?** A: Yes, all the hearing aids of iBstone brand are FDA approved. **Q: What is the difference between the mini model and K17 ?** A: Hi, The K17 model has a receiver ( part you insert in your ear ) that is at an angle & has a pull stick thingy. Also the receiver cover ( silicone Dome) is more dome like. When you charge it but you have to turn off the on/off switch. The mini recever end is straight and the silicone cover covers the full end section, it felt more comfortable to me. No on off button needed as it automatically turns on when you take it out of the case. It charges much faster & holds a charge long . In addition the case itself gets charged so you can put the mini back in & it will charge them.. It doesn't come with a plug but you can use your phone plug that converts electric to USB. When you register for warranty you get a choice of a gift : A plug, domes, oe wax guard ! Their Support People are very nice but you can only contact them through email. Ultra polite & responsive. Both units had good amplification. I thought the mini was easier as it charged faster& the case itsef was small so I could carry it with me in my pocket in case I wanted to take them out & put them away while out. Only trouble I had was they would push out my ear canal while eating or talking a lot . Sopport person asked me to try different dome (cover) sizes to solve this.
