It's snug but it fit, and in a pinch I can always drop it in the main interior pocket, which is more roomy, as well. There's a variety of zippered and unzippered pockets inside, and a zippered pouch in front. Generally there seems to be room for just about everything I want to carry to work with me and keep things well organized. There are also two drink pockets as well, which should fit a variety of small/medium sized drink containers. I've used this for my office commute a couple of times now on the train and walk to office. It stays in place well enough - I tend to use only a single strap and it's fine. The top handle also make it convenient to take on/off your shoulder and carry it short distances. Overall I'm pleased. It’s held up great so far and is cute! I get lots of compliments on the color and shape. My only complaint is with the side pockets. If there’s a lot of wide stuff in the backpack, it’s really hard to get anything in and out of the pockets. They’re really only functional if the backpack isn’t full.
