It is GALVANIZED, not stainless steel. The sticker on the mud pan didn't want to come off very easy, but almost any mud pans or knifes have the stickers on there. Maybe in the future they could do a cardboard wrap around type thing instead of a sticker. If you are gonna use this at work or you are gonna use it a lot, find a stainless steel one, as they don't rust as easy. But this would be fine for when you might use it a few times a year. I have never had a galvanized one before, but I hear they rust really easy.
