It's "boxy" like it's supposed to be (that's how these traditional shirts fit) so it's a bit big on me -- but the shoulders and sleeves are just right. What I noticed about it is when I washed it for the first time, I turned it inside out and noticed ALL of threads that no one bothered to snip off. I mean there are LOTS! Also, I read that someone purchased this shirt and it bled the color into the embroidery. I decided to hand wash mine with gentle detergent and noticed right away that the color started running off. Before I knew it I had a pool of navy blue water. I washed the blouse gently on a washboard, so that the shirt was not submerged in the blue water, though -- not sure if this is what made the difference. Shortly thereafter the color bleeding stopped and I was also able to rinse out the color from the embroidery. My blouse is now clean and still navy & white --- perhaps very, very, very subtle hints of blue in the white embroidery (but then it could just be my eyes playing tricks on me). I'm a 12/14 in blouses and tried both the XL and XXL because I wasn't sure about the sizing. Both sizes fit, but the XL was a little snug when I pulled my arms forward. These are a great price and value. Look fairly authentic. If you are looking for a thicker fabric or for your interior hems to not have any strings, you may not love this blouse. But for the price, it is exactly what I was looking for.
