We purchased it a while back and there's nothing stating point of origin on the front or back of the thermometer. **Q: I need this to make yogurt. i noticed that it has a big tm on it. silly question, is that where it needs to be for the right temp (110°)** A: I'm not sure what the TW stands for, maybe a logo. You need to bring milk up to 180 degrees F (the smaller inside numbers), which is 83 degrees C (the larger numbers on the dial).
