My female is chill but doesn't really like anything but petting. My male is jumpy but likes brushing and petting. This massager is really quiet and gentle and both my cats remained very relaxed when I used this on them. My female was even pushing her head into it. It stirs up quite a bit of fur though. Thankfully this is waterproof and says it can be used for pets. My only worry is if hair can accumulate under the roller balls and do any damage. $35.99 minus today's 10% off coupon isn't bad though.After I washed off their hair, I tried it myself and confirmed it's very soft material, stimulating, and didn't tangle my very long hair as I always pictured these must. Oh, and don't limit yourself to the scalp. It feels good everywhere. It's so easy to use, you hardly need instruction.
