My machine only worked for 6 weeks. I returned it and was sent a replacement, which only worked for 6 weeks. I then got a refund and bought a different machine. So even if it did make a flat white I would not recommend it. **Q: Can I use ground coffee in EQ 500** A: I believe so. The machine has a receptacle to use ground coffee but we haven't used it. Very happy with the machine though. **Q: Where are the 9 programs?
