There was no flaky mess, no shedding, no tiny flakes all over myself and the floor. Finally, someone knows how to make foam!!! We couldn't figure out how to remove the old ones, so we just put these on the seats and put chair covers over them and they work perfectly. My only complaint is that they're hard to cut down due to their thickness.
