Powering a house? No that is also for charging. That means the sun can charge it if I lost you there **Q: The button next to the 3 blue lights whats it for.?..and will all 3 blue lights stay on when it is fully charged.?** A: That button next to the 3 blue lights turns off and on and shows you how fully charge is your light. So when you push it on you see 1, 2 or 3 lights on. 3 meaning it's fully charged. Then push the button again to shut it off. No need to keep on all the time. **Q: Is the luminous distance far?** A: My hand-held spotlight emits a large beam.
