Okay if you're reading this, you're clearly doing some research because of your Midwest cage needs a MAJOR upgrade on the pans. **Fair warning this will be long but worth the read. **I have pet rats. Quite a few. We love the Midwest critter nation cages. But the cheap plastic pans they came with are horrible. Not only do basically ALL animals chew the plastic trays, they are so hard to clean!! You have to really scrub them to get them clean. So we bought some second hand pans similar to these (I won't mention the company name, but we'll known) and I immediately said we need more! I found quality cage crafters on my own research. I loved that it was a US based company, who you can tell REALLY does their research. Reading their website I was really impressed. Then I saw you could get them in different colors!!!! I was SOLD!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚So, I purchased some for my girls. As soon as I opened the box I went and set up their cage! These pans are definitely constructed very well, and very safely. Every edge was smooth. The pans are very sturdy also. Obviously I love the look haha.Cleaning: the first time I took them out to clean them, I just dumped the bedding out and sprayed a little bit of cleaner on it. Let it sit for a couple minutes. It literally rinsed clean with hot water. I didn't even need to scrub it!!!! I went and bought blue pans for my boys now too!If you have a Midwest cage. Wether it's for guinea pigs, ferrets, chinchillas, rats, or anything, you need these pans. Even if you don't use a substrate in your cages (we sometimes use fleece liners, or bath mats, so we don't NEED the high edges, but the fact they aren't chewing this up, and how easily it cleans...worth it) you will be glad you made this investment.We're building our 3rd double critter nation cage, and will be purchasing our 3rd full set from this company soon!! ### ⭐⭐ This product is fine but it's just not worth it *by M***N on September 10, 2022* There's nothing wrong with this, it's just simply not at all worth the price. You can make this yourself for about a quarter of the price from cloroplast and it'll be lighter and easier to clean too. Yes, most rodents can chew through cloroplast but if you put care into making yours it's very unlikely any rodent would really want to. If you're a welder, this is only worse, because you can make something equivalent with a few dollars of sheet metal, 4 bends, and 4 welds.
