Featuring a blend of 7 natural oils, it offers a versatile application as a tree paste, brush-on, or foliar spray. Ideal for fruit, nut, ornamental trees, and roses, it provides eco-friendly, long-lasting defense that supports healthier, stress-free plant growth year-round. ## Description Product description IV Organic 3-in-1 Plant Guard for trees and shrubs, (such as Fruit & Nut Trees, Ornamental Trees, Roses & Shrubs). Used by home gardeners and orchard growers to protect tree trunks and branches from sunburn (summer), sunscald (winter), repel insects and rodents. This product is organic, non-toxic & environmentally safer. FIRST DEFENSE: Apply IV Organic 3-in-1 Plant Guard to provide a shield against the sun's harmful rays that cause sunburn during the hottest summers day-- as well as sunscald which is caused when the temperature abruptly rises too high during the cold winter months. Both Sunburn and Sunscald cause the tree's bark to crack and/ or die-- resulting in additional stress which get compounded by insects and parasites that enter the barkless wood-- an invasion that will ultimately shorten the tree's life. SECOND DEFENSE: Apply IV Organic 3-in-1 Plant Guard to provide a shield against beetles, termites and other wood boring, chewing & piercing type insects. Organic & effective time release defense with 7 natural oils, including castor, cinnamon, clove, garlic, peppermint, rosemary & spearmint oils. THIRD DEFENSE: Apply IV Organic 3-in-1 Plant Guard to provide a shield that repels most rodents that may gnaw on the tree's bark. This product contains castor oil, which comes from the Castor Tree Seed, and naturally makes everything coated with this product taste horrible! You can also dilute 1-2 teaspoons of the prepared IV Organic 3-in-1 Plant Guard with a gallon of water to make a foliar sun screen spray to provide your entire plant with defense to the elements up to 1-2x per year--Ideal at time of transplanting. Review: This is my third year purchasing IV Organics plant guard. It seems expensive but it really goes a long way. We use it to paint the trunks of our fruit trees. We have a backyard orchard so nothing too large. We like to paint the trunks for the winter because where we are the weather is quite variable and we get a lot of sudden freezes followed by warming, therefore they are prone to sun scald. We noticed a lot more injury to our trees when we were not using the Plant Guard. It definitely has a smell, but it is not unpleasant, just like a bunch of herbs and cinnamon put together. It is very easy to use, just mix up and either paint on or use as spray. Anything remaining can be frozen, though we generally don’t have anything to save. ## Features - Use biocides safely. It seems expensive but it really goes a long way. We use it to paint the trunks of our fruit trees. We have a backyard orchard so nothing too large. I purchased this product for 3 new 15 gallon fruit trees I planted which sway in the wind (I want some play/movement in staking of the trees while they get established so they will grow to support themselves). Once dried the product began to crack and flake off (I noticed it starting the next day). It continues to come off daily. The cost of the product, and time and energy invested in reapplying, made me want to post this review to caution others to consider the application they intend. If you are looking for organic, I would DEFINETLY use this product for spot applications to address small areas of sun exposure on established stable plants and for pruning seals. If the product was more stable with a longer self, I would use it in this way for I prefer organic options when possible. However, I won't be using it even for those applications as storing the mixed product in my refrigerator (per directions) is just not practical or desirable to me (even if it is all "natural"). If you are desperate for an organic product and can stomach the high cost and potential re-applications/potential poor adhesion then, this might be the product for you. I gave three stars because I do think it is a good product - just not as marketed in my opinion and therefore not usable in my application. ## Frequently Bought Together - IV Organic 3-in-1 Plant Guard, 1 Pint (Brown) - IV Organic 23 oz. 3-in-1 Plant Guard Spray Bottle (White) (1) - IV Organic White Wash, 1 Pint (WHITE) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/435388447-iv-organic-100534573-3-in-1-plant-guard-brown](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/435388447-iv-organic-100534573-3-in-1-plant-guard-brown) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
