Here you go. *by S***N on Reviewed in the United States on February 16, 2015* A lot has been said about this case so I won't rehash what's already been brought up here. This will be a quick and simple review.GOOD: Fits like a glove. Doesn't impede any of the iPhone's functionality (buttons, lens, etc). Matte finish doesn't slide well on slightly angled surfaces. I've always thought the iPhones are now TOO thin; this case adds some (IMO) much needed heft and dimension to the phone. Provides more than 100% recharge power to my iPhone 5. Were it not for the BAD that I'm about to write, I'd adore the heck out of this case.BAD: This case will ALWAYS self-destruct in about nine months. I bought this case in July 2013. In March 2014 — eight months later — the case failed. It would no longer charge the phone with or without a charging cable, and the battery would no longer charge either. The LED on the back of the case would just flash red over and over and over again. After about a month's worth of hassle, uNu replaced my case with a new one. Hooray. That was April 2014. In February 2015 — ten months later — the replacement case exhibited EXACTLY the same problem as the original case. After a bit more hassle, uNu replaced THAT case as well. In October 2015 — nine months later — THAT case failed in exactly the same way. uNu again replaced it at the beginning of November 2015, then in mid-August 2015 it failed yet again. I've reached out to uNu yet again but I'm not at all optimistic about them replacing it again. Absolutely no product like this should die after a mere nine months.To summarize:2013 July: Purchased.2014 March: (8 months later) Failed.2014 April: uNu replaced.2015 February (10 months later) Failed. uNu replaced.2015 October (9 months later). Failed.2015 November: uNu replaced.2016 August (9 months later): Failed.In context, "failed" means that the case would no longer charge the phone with or without a charging cable, and the battery would no longer charge either the case or the phone.Should you require a well-designed, well-built, and eminently disposable iPhone charging case, the uNu is for you. ### ⭐ Stopped working after two months, and so did its replacement *by M***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 24, 2014* I originally ordered one of these as a Christmas present for my 18-year-old brother who is always blowing through his iPhone's battery life. At first, it worked great. He loved being able to last a full day before needing to charge up, and as he used to need to buy a new lightning charger every couple months due to their flimsiness, being able to switch to more robust micro-USB cables was an added bonus.Around mid-February, after not even two months of use, the device began to fail. When he plugged it in, his phone would--for lack of a better term--freak out, constantly switching between charging and non-charging states. Neither the phone nor the case would charge while the phone was inside the case. Taking the phone out of the case, he could charge the phone normally with a lightning cable, and charge the case separately with a micro-USB cable. Shortly after, the case would not charge at all by any means.So I went to uNu's website to request a replacement. After a few days of email contact, I shipped off the defective product and three weeks later a new one arrived at my door. Again, this one worked great... for about a month. Then the same issue began to reoccur. Neither device suffered any sort of impact or water damage whatsoever, and for the life of me I can't think of any other reason this kind of malfunction should occur except for a flat-out defect.Frustrated, but determined to get my money's worth, I contacted uNu support again on April 16th to request another replacement and to seek advice on why the problem may have reoccurred, as well as how we might avoid it in the future. When you submit a technical support form on their website, you're told they will respond in 24 hours. After five days with no response, I tried sending the support form again on April 21st. I still haven't received any response, but at this point I'm reconsidering whether I should even bother getting a replacement. Am I supposed to just keep sending it off to be replaced every month or two until the warranty runs out? Can I even do that? Or am I supposed to just cut my losses and consider the device an $80 paperweight?I would have rated this product 5/5 stars, even after needing it replaced the first time. I understand some individual devices are just defective, and don't reflect the overall quality of the product; but two failures in a row, so similar in both how and when they fail, is too coincidental. I'll revise this review if the third one turns out okay, assuming I can ever even get the second one replaced now that support seems to be avoiding me. Until then, my advise will be to seek a different brand if you're looking to extend your iPhone's battery life. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great! Has one annoyance, but would buy again *by G***D on Reviewed in the United States on August 11, 2015* Pros:1. Has enough juice to charge my phone 1.5 times2. Case is easy to put on (and off)3. No longer need to use Lightening cable!Cons:1. When you first unplug the case from the USB cord, the case goes into charging mode. Easy to turn off the charging mode, but gets annoying.2. Adds weight (not really a con since this is expected)Summary:Battery case charges up my phone in 30-45 minutes. I can start the charge and turn off the charge at any point. The back of the case has a LED light that tells me the status of the case and how much more juice is left. I'm finding out that i can usually charge my phone 1.5 times before the extra battery in the case completely bottoms out. The case is pretty sturdy, and my phone (and the case as well) have survived several 3 to 4 foot falls. When the case is plugged into the USB cord, it will charge the phone first and then recharge the case battery. Also, since this case uses micro-USB cables, you no longer need to spend all that ridiculous amount of money either on a real Apple Lightening cord, or on tons of cheap and crappy Lightening cords that don't work.The only thing I don't really like about this case is that when you unplug it from the USB cable, (say in the morning after you wake up and the phone/case has been charging all night at is at 100%) the case goes into "Charge" mode and tries to charge the phone. It's idiotic. It takes 3 seconds to turn it off, and it didn't bother me the first 50 times I did it. Now, it's just gotten very aggravatingly annoying. However, I would definitely buy this one again.
