My husband eats wagon-loads of bananas. I married a monkey! But, even so, he doesn't always eat them fast enough to prevent some from going bad. For myself, the banana window of desirability is tiny and you have to be alert as it approaches to catch it before it passes, because the optimum time for eating a banana seems to me to be an amount of time equal to that you'd spend waiting in line at the bank or Post Office, and then: Poof! My banana is OVERripe. Oh, no! These bags enlarge that window of desirability.
