When my cheapo meter stopped working, I got this. I love the backlit screen and the solid feel. Here, I set my aquarium heater to 25C to heat up 5G of water, and then compared the temperature measurement with my very accurate Fluke DMV readout. Same temperature. I also like that I can use AAA batteries. Just like other users, I had to learn which cap is for the probes and which for the batteries, and just like others, I am clueless as to why I have to press the on-button for several seconds before the display turns on.
