Anywhere on counters water gets splashed or pools, great for keeping things dry. QUALITY - Seems high quality. Looking on desertcart, scrolling down, it says breathable leather. Um no, not leather. Wouldn't want it to be, so why it has that, not sure. APPEARANCE - Blends in well and many colors to enhance rather than decrease look of counter. THICKNESS - is perfect VALUE FOR MONEY - Even if I had to have paid full price, would have been worth it, but I got for six bucks and change. BOTTOMLINE: Glad I got and would definitely get again.

**Q: This looks like a bacteria encubation facility? Can it be put in the washer?**
A: I haven’t had any issues yet. I’ve been using it for a couple of months now.

**Q: Has anyone else had an issue with it laying flat? Mine is wavy and curls on the ends even after a day of laying out.**
A: We haven’t had any issues with this item not laying perfectly flat. We actually have two of them side by side and again, no issues.

**Q: Can I use this mat on a wooden cabinet, I'm concerned with it sticking and ruining the wood finish?**
A: We have butcher block counter tops and had to put it on a rack to let air flow. We do food safe treatment on our butcher blocks.

This AMOAMI dish drying mat is fantastic! The absorbent material works incredibly well and dries dishes quickly. It's large enough to hold multiple dishes, glasses, and utensils. I got this mat to sit under my new Breville Touch Impress (amazing btw, and it's on sale as of the time of writing) and it’s been a quiet hero. It catches every rogue drip, stray ground, and random splash so my counter stays spotless. It wipes clean in seconds, looks neat, and makes my setup feel like a mini café. Before this mat, my countertop looked like a crime scene every morning. Now it’s so clean I feel like I should charge myself rent to use my own coffee bar. Tip: Size up a little if you’re unsure. It’s nice to have extra space for your tamper and accessories. Verdict: Inexpensive, practical, and a lifesaver if you’re a messy home barista. Would buy again in a heartbeat. Lots of area to store stuff, and lightweight.
