Review: This is AWESOME!! It's actually smart toaster! - So, my old toaster was 20+ years old and as a 50 year old guy I use stuff until it dies. My old toaster started smoking a year ago and would set off the smoke alarm everytime I toasted my raisin bread in the morning with my coffee. I took it apart with my Grandson to teach him that you can repair stuff instead of just throwing everything out as most people do. We cleaned every part and put it back together and it lasted another year before dying completely. So, time to pop onto desertcart to find a new toaster. I didn't know they made smart toasters, and I didn't know I needed one. This one tells you when the toast, bagel, etc will be done depending on how dark you want it. I like my toast or bagel crunchy and dark. Some toasters don't do that well. This one did right off the bat. It even has a pop up rack to thaw out frozen bagels! How handy is that? No more waiting all day for them to thaw, just pop up the rack and put on the thaw setting. The toast comes out exactly like I like it. It had a factory smell the first 2 times but after that nothing but toast smell. The Elite Gourmet ECT 4400b is worth the money. Spend the extra $10 for this as it's worth the little extra. If I saw this at a friend's house and they said they paid $200 I'd believe it and I'd go buy one, it's that nice. Worth every penny and more. Thank you desertcart and Elite Gourmet!!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ works well for all types of breads

works well, on time arrival

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dead on arrival. Does not lock.
*by D***V on May 26, 2025*

Failure directly out of the box. I'll update if the second one they're sending me works, but at this time, I cannot recommend anyone buys this thing. Edit: So, it's been a few weeks with replacement, and it has been working well. The bagel mode is pretty decent overall, it's not very wide which is kinda disappointing with the shape of it honestly. Like, why flare it out if you're not going to utilize the extra space? At the end of the day, it toasts my bread, sometimes burns my buns in weird places due to the narrowness of it though. It doesn't work poor enough to give it three stars, but not anywhere near good enough to get five stars. At most, it deserves 3.75 stars out of five.
