Review: A slippery fella - but very sturdy, thick, and protective! - Didn't expect the case to be so hard on the outside, which causes it to be a bit slipperier than I expected. I thought it would have a bit more of that soft-ish plastic on the outside to help it to "adhere" to hard surfaces a bit better, but the only soft-ish plastic is on the inside of the case. The only issue this has caused me is that I can no longer place my phone on hard, ever-so-slightly tilted surfaces (like a slightly crooked table) without watching it slip and slide around -- and I have had one occasion where my phone slipped out of my pocket and fell to the ground with this case on it (which never used to happen with my old case from a different brand)... but that old one broke after a 4-foot fall. On the other hand, THIS case is so sturdy and firm, that I'm fairly convinced I could drop my phone off the Empire State Building, and still be able to take bets on whether it would break or not. (...Please don't actually try that.) I'll also say that the red case is brighter and more orange-y than I expected from the pictures. I didn't like that when I first got the case, but I don't mind anymore because I'm so pleased with the strength of the case. However, if you wanted something closer to red rather than red-orange, then you are not going to get that, and you might want to pick a different color.

Didn't expect the case to be so hard on the outside, which causes it to be a bit slipperier than I expected.
