The phone is very protected by the case and the screen does not break when it falls. I had a slimmer case that I liked very much because it was not bulky, but in three months I had to take the phone twice to repair the screen because it broke when the phone fell. What I did the Qualwin DEFENDER is that I put a glass cover directly on the screen as protection, and I took off the transparent plastic cover the case comes with.
