This is a totally worthless fabric adhesive. It isn't meant to be permanent--"water soluble " means that it is supposed to wash out. But in my experience the adhesion wasn't even temporary. It's supposed to keep appliques on until you sew them permanently--so you don't have to use pins. It simply didn't work. Everything fell off as soon as it dried. **Q: can you sew through this without gumming up your needle** A: I don't know. I am using it for English Paper piecing, and not sewing through it. **Q: How long will the glue hold? I’m making a lot of hexies and it may take months before I get to hand sew them all together.** A: A very long time. I glued a bunch of pieces for my epp project 6 months ago and held til now perfectly when I picked the project back up. **Q: I hope this isn't a stupid question, but if it's water soluble does that mean it'll be less adhesive after washing the clothes?** A: It will not hold after washing. Considered a temporary glue, water solvable, means it washes out. This glue is prized by quilters and semester who want a temp hold until they have sewn their seam or attached a zipper or...
