I did encounter an initial quality problem -- two of the four built-in barrel nuts in the main standing piece were somehow malformed and would not hold the screws. I contacted the vendor's support via email, and they got back within a couple hours and arranged to ship a new unit to me. So great service to correct the problem. This tower stand is for my grandsons to use, and in the ~6 weeks I've had it, it has been used it several times, and we're all very happy with it. Holding up just as strong as when I first assembled. Both slip pads are now gone but nothing adding new ones can’t fix. I have a 1 and a half year old and she absolutely loves being able to see and help in the kitchen. Easy assembly, just takes a bit of patience. I deducted a star for the slip resistance little pads they give , one of them doesn’t stick too well. Sturdiness is okay.
