A: It comes in its folded position -- no assembly needed, just unfold it.

**Q: Is there a difference between the all black and the silver and black 2 wheel cart? The silver is posted as lighter weight.**
A: The silver rods are made of high-quality aluminum alloy, and the black rods are made of high-quality iron alloy.  There is a discrepancy in the exact weight difference:  the weight is listed at 1200 grams, which is 2.64 lbs. and in the description it says 2.9 lbs.

**Q: Can you carry beach chairs with it?**
A: I would think so. Depends on how big and how or where you run the bungee cords to hold them on.
I use it for my flight carry-on and CPAP machine bag.
