Face of magnifying glass has layers of magnifying plastic film which have numerous tiny bubbles, discolorations and distortions which make it difficult to see through clearly. The face is large and would be the perfect size to use, however when picked up, the round head pulls apart from the handle and makes a snapping sound. I didn't even bother with batteries because I knew this was going back. I hate sending things back, but I also hate giving my money away for worthless products. In addition to these comments, I was trying to put the batteries in and got the battery case open and the aluminum battery holder fell out.
