I was under the impression the hair would actually stick to the glove. Wrong. When I was using it on my puppy, the hair flew into the air. On the couch, it clumped up. It didn't seem especially effective in getting loose fur off her either. I knew it was probably too good to be true. It wasn't super expensive so not a huge loss but nothing I'd recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Deshedding Glove Good for Supplemental Grooming *by C***R on May 9, 2017* This glove works pretty well. I was lucky my guy (6-yr old Himalyan cat) took to it (once I let him sniff/explore it) - he thinks he's getting massaged instead of groomed. His long fur is extremely prone to matting to the point of having to be shaved a few times over the past couple of years, so I am always looking for any and all tools to avoid that again. He's been shedding like crazy for the past month or so, so at this point he's pretty sick of me coming after him with brushes and combs and detangler sprays! Using this glove in between the major brush-outs has been helping. I also like that the glove has the velour side for cleaning up my clothes afterward. A few reviewers had issues getting the fur off of the glove, but I find it comes off pretty easily - if not, a couple of passes with the wide tooth cat comb does the trick.
