It works great and removes the soot without making a bigger mess ### ⭐⭐⭐ Eh it works okay-ish *by on Reviewed in the United States March 29, 2026* Bought this on recommendation, after an incident where our fireplace screen blew in and blew soot everywhere. It does work-- you can see soot on the eraser. But not as well as just using various rug cleaners. We didn't have issues with our walls; I can see this working really well for walls. Furniture/rugs, not so much. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for removing Dust and other Contaminants *by on Reviewed in the United States January 8, 2026* Unfortunately we were and still are displaced survivors from the Eaton Fire on 1/7/2025. Our home was saved but had severe smoke damage with heavy metal contamination. We had to throw away most of our possessions but some could saved with correct surface cleaning. These sponges were recommended to us from an art restorer who showed us how to dry clean our paintings and other treasures with the sponge. It works very well and we recommend them. ## Frequently Bought Together - SpongeCo - Dry Cleaning Soot Eraser Sponge - Pet Hair, Smoke, Soot, Dust and Dirt Remover - 3x6 Double, One Unit (2 Pack Single) - Scrub Daddy Eraser Daddy 10x, Magic Eraser Sponge for Painted Walls, Skirting Board Cleaner, Melamine Sponges, Dual-Sided Scrubber Pads, All Purpose Cleaning Sponges, Magical Mark Remover, 2 Pack - Everbuild Sugar Soap Liquid Concentrate – Removes Grease, Grime and Nicotine Stains – Powerful Formula – 500ml --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/437458127-dry-cleaning-soot-eraser-sponge-pet-hair-smoke-soot-dust](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/437458127-dry-cleaning-soot-eraser-sponge-pet-hair-smoke-soot-dust) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
