If you are into Voodooism, you need to invest in a 12 inch, full tang, Damascus, or a 7Cr13 steel, Blade with oversized guard and pommel......"cut the head off of a live chicken." Are you Unionized? **Q: Do these scissors separate for cleaning?** A: They do not separate. And I would wash/dry them by hand to prevent rusting. **Q: Are these scissors Completely Red (as pictured) or red with black?** A: Completely red **Q: Can these be used to precisely cut paper products as well?** A: I use mine to cut things like wrapping paper as well. I like that the handles are hard molded plastic all around with an over-molded soft thermoplastic on the insides where my hand touches them, as completely soft handles don't last long. One blade has small serrations which helps the cutting action. I'm sure they will last a long time, but if they don't I'll be back to to update my review.
