The grey (in my case) outer coating gives a nice degree of grip on what is a fairly heavy bottle (even when empty).The lid is a two piece screw on cap that comprises the "chug" spout, which is just like the neck of a typical screw top bottle and looks and feels like clear glass but may actually be some type of plastic, and the actual closure cap which has a sturdy carry handle incorporated into it. The lower "chug spout" part has a rubber o-ring seal between it and the bottle, which prevents leaking of contents.The double wall does help keep chilled liquids cool for an extended period and being stainless steel it does not taint the contents, hold unpleasant odours, cleans easily and is non-toxic compared to some plastic drink bottles.Personally I think that overall build quality and performance more than justifies the price, which is not excessive. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best water bottle for price ££ *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 16 September 2024* Does exactly what it says in the description, I normally fill it up in the morning before work from the fridge and it will stay at the same temperature throughout the day even when I’m working outside in the Sun only small complaint is that if you don’t screw the top on fully/tight then it will ever so slightly leak?
