I dont want to install the brackets since I have d-rings.** A: I don't think it will. The pin that holds the tow bar must go thru a horizontal bracket.......i think the "D" ring you have is horizontal too so there would be no place to insert the pin. So I don't think they are compatible. **Q: Can the Width of this go smaller than 24". I need it to be 15 inches to tow a leaf vacuum?** A: yeah the two arms can touch during storage, so you just tighten bolts at desired width. **Q: will this work to tow a 2013 honda fit from an rv? do i need to purchase more items or is this a complete kit?** A: Everything I needed was in the kit. No additional purchase was required. With regards to rv towing, I’m not sure. Certainly durable enough, just not sure about figment. My son had a β€˜92 wrangler YJ. we used this to tow the Jeep from MD to TN behind my Tahoe. Towed like a champ. **Q: Will this work with the roadmaster EZ twisterlock brackets??** A: It is not designed for that application.
