Umbrella was stored out of the weather during the winter and is only used during the sunny months. Typically used every other weekend and we leave it out on the deck fold up until the next trip. The only real issue I had was that the housing for the crank handle would capture and retain quite a bit of dew water. This water would spill out when deploying the umbrella. I was able to fix the issue by applying some RTV sealent around the top of the housing. I have already recommended this unit to other cabin owners in the area.-LJ- ### ⭐ It would be better if the weights would tie into each other *by D***R on June 25, 2017* The reason is the same as I rated the weights. The weights were ok but the flanges on the umbrella stand was to narrow for the weights to worked effectively. It would be better if the weights would tie into each other. The first wind that came up the umbrella blow down. Only used the umbrella one time for safety reasons. I noticed that if it is windy or rainy it will sag quick so I suggest making sure you always pull it in.
