This meant losing a day's pay or holiday which is not acceptable. We took up the manufacturer's suggestion to contact them if we were not completely happy with our purchase. They provided a battery free of charge which is above and beyond expectations when we weren't their customer. I've found that the hold on the chain loosens off quite frequently, resulting in the chain needing to be remounted and retightened (no matter how hard you tighten it). The process is easy enough, but I've had to do it more than 20 times shortening down a quite overgrown Leylandii hedge. Perhaps just using it for heavier purpose than intended.
