They don’t have “ink” so they never run dry, the tips seem pretty sturdy and able to withstand a lot of use. **Q: Do these have a cap? The tips are very hard and took a while for the water to soak through well enough to start painting, but once they were used a couple of times they worked fine. The water does leak through when the pen is shaken, however, so if you have kiddos that like doing that be aware there will be water sprinkled everywhere. Okay for the price, size is good for little hands and make them easy to use.
