By helping to absorb magnesium and other elements it helps regulate blood pressure. BTW a handful of cashews daily gives all the magnesium you need ONCE your vitamin D level is correct but won't be absorbed without it. **Q: Does this work to deal with vit d deficiency** A: I believe so I was on Vitamin D tablets from my doctor and these are not as strong but strong enough, I feel good about taking them **Q: I opened the tub and they have a strange smell.
