I have purchased a prior roll of Scat Cat Mat and wrapped it around the trunks of our but she found a way over the back gate. The second roll was cut and used on the diagonal beam of the fence and top of the gate. The Cat Scat Mat Is easy to cut to size and secure on the desired surface. I can now rest easy my fearless kitten is now safe in our backyard. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Consider whether you want it shipped FLAT, not in a ROLL (indoor/outdoor matters)...but GOOD PRODUCT *by M***. on September 22, 2020* I almost feel bad for giving this fewer than five stars for a reason that has little to do with quality, but I want to point out for other buyers a trade-off they might not realize they're making.(BTW: for keeping cats off stuff, I used to cut up those desk-chair floor-protectors for carpet that had big spiky nubs on the underside: Those worked great, but were hard to cut (lots of obnoxious plastic dust), & the nubs weren't as pronounced, & you had to keep a big, awkward sheet that you sawed chunks out of: I didn't realize "Scat Mat" was a whole thing now till I found it while actually **searching for** the old deskchair-mats. Thank god this is a thing now! SO much easier!)The trade-off you might want to consider is this: a lot of the more inexpensive Scat Mats come in rolls, which, while being more flexible if you need longer lengths, means you have to pretty aggressively FLATTEN IT if you want it to lie FLAT (and this is almost always the case, no?)...ESPECIALLY the last little bit, which is tightly curled, in a very tight radius at the center of the roll.I reverse-rolled small sections (rolled them "inside out" from the way they'd been shipped) & kept them tacked that way overnight, & it worked okay to get some outer-layer-segments relatively flat relatively quickly, but the innermost layers are taking some wrangling to turn into nice flat rectilinear segments...and none of my uses exceed 2-3 ft in length.If I had it to do again, I might buy mats that came in FLAT sections (for shorter-length uses, e.g. "don't lie on my guitar amp / pedalboard /etc")...but then again, this was the least expensive and (eventually, when flattened) function just fine.Just something to be aware of: do you wanna mess with flattening?
