Each character has his or her own story to tell and has struggles to overcome. Even the slightest detail can give you a whole new meaning of a character's action and intention. A very few anime goes that far with story and characted development. I won't spoil anything but part 2 gets even better with more emotional rollercoaster. I still remember the ending for some reason. Some facts have been jumbled or changed to match the story, so it's cool! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dark Reaper and Golden Fairy *by M***R on May 31, 2017* I was a fan of this series back when it was available on Crunchyroll. It follows the odd duo the doll-like Victorique and Japanese foreigner Kazaya as they solve mysteries in a fictional french inspired country Sabure (sometimes Sauville). Victorique's wellspring of wisdom makes her a queen of quick deductions, and Kazaya plays 'Watson' to her 'Holmes'. Hopefully this series gets more popular, so we can get the novels translated as well. I recommend it if you're a fan of works like Detective Conan (Case Closed) or Sherlock Holmes style mysteries.
