**Q: What gauge is the wire?**
A: The cable is a gauge 18, and the wire is about gauge 22. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR HIGH VOLTAGE USE.

**Q: Will these work on parrale batteries 12v 12ah?**
A: Yes, I use both 9v batteries and a 12v power source.

**Q: Why not use a 9 volt battery alone with steel wool?  I have and it works fast, have fuel close by.**
A: I don’t understand. These are not for starting fires.

**Q: Will I be able to use these to get rid of electrical charge?**
A: Not exactly sure what you mean because any copper wire could be used to connect two points.  One end could be clipped to ground and the other to the source you want to remove the charge.  However be careful what you connect the wires to, only use on low voltage only.  These are clip leads used to connect different circuits
