Review: Comfortable writer but poor quality build - The nib is certainly flexible with good line variation etc and is lovely to write normally with too. I like black so I purchased lots of black cartridges. I use Waterman Intense Black ink cartridges. I have not tried other brands since I very happy with how the combination of the pen and ink works 🤗 **Q: Does this come with a ebonite nib? Or which kind?** A: It comes with a plastic feed. **Q: Do the cartridges that come with the pen contain ink or are they empty to be filled by the user?** A: Ink cartridges always contain ink. It’s a matter of whether the cartridge is a standard international cartridge or a proprietary one. I believe that the pen that you are referring to accepts standard international ink cartridges. Most pens come with a converter that allows you to fill the converter from an ink bottle. You can fill many converters with an eye dropper as well. **Q: Does the nib and ebonite feed come apart from the pen housing? If so, how do you disassemble it? I'd like to clean the nib.** A: It is friction-fit; the ebonite feed and the nib can be pulled out from the housing by direct force- preferably using a piece of rubber grip to avoid deforming the rather fragile ebonite feed.
