**Q: Can I tap on the head with a hammer to get the spike into the ground?**
A: Hello.  We do not recommend using a hammer on the sprinkler head to get the spike into the ground.  This could damage the sprinkler head and cause the range dial adjustments to not work.

**Q: how many inches/hour?**
A: It uses a hose input and will deliver the amount your hose dies, a gallon or two per minute.

I have had 4 heads for about 3 or 4 years work great, just added 2 more heads. These are for small areas which is what i have but work great. I have 3 heads per side.
