**Q: How long is it effective/good for after mixing with water?**
A: Once you mix with water for application you want to use it within a day.

**Q: Ingredients?  Is this to be used before or after sowing vegetable seeds?**
A: Ingredients are listed on the label: Microbes, molasses, & water. It is to be used for both before and after planting This product is used as a seed treatment, applied at planting, and during the plant's growth in the soil as well as foliar feed mixes.

**Q: Can this be used on a potted blueberry bush?**
A: EM-1 can be used on ANY plant. It won’t hurt your blueberries. It activates the soil with beneficial microbes, which in turn make the nutrients in your soil available to the plant by breaking them down into substances the plant can access and use. It’s perfectly safe.

**Q: How long does it last after mixing with water?**
A: If you are mixing the EM1 to water for use only - you want to use it that same day.  If you are talking about activating the product for use - that is a whole different, detailed answer.

I had a horse on lay-up who was always peeing in the same spot in the run off his stall. We have sandy soil that drains well, but the area started to stink with him confined to it 24/7. I used this EM-1 innoculant as directed (diluting it with water and sprinkling on the area) and it immediately improved the situation. Weekly applications kept the situation in check. I now keep this stuff on hand as a barn staple and reach for it whenever an area of the paddock starts to get an odor. It’s worth the price. Easy to use.
