The people in other reviews complaining that the technological (software and hardware) examples in the book are outdated lack experience with midi orchestration. While some of the specific software is outdated, the parameters stay basically the same. This is also true for hardware. These people are lazy and want every little thing spoon fed to them. Just shop around for the latest and best tech within your price range! Plus, a lot of the software is updated on a regular basis or is replaced by the same people with newer versions. On the complaints of the tech being too expensive... welcome to the world of professional music production.
